i sort of have a new dilemma. i really really want to go to mexico again in april. buttt if i do that, i would have to miss a week of school. and also i would miss all the meetings (which i found out is fine, but still...) and i don't know how much i could do with group fundraising. and i should be saving money, so i would most likely need to rely on my generous family, once again, but i feel guilty doing that. and also, i don't know if i would want to go if someone wasn't going with me. those are all the reasons i shouldn't go. but i still really want to. and i'm not good at being practical at all. it was just such an adventure, and i love the leader and his wife, and i want to see the progress, and i felt soo good when i got back last year. um yeah. so if you have any suggestions or you wanna go, let me know.

I say go for it. You'll eventually forget a week's worth of school, but Mexico's a memory you'll have for a lifetime.

And even if you rely on your family for money, well, it's a good cause. They're not just giving to you, they're giving to the people you're helping... indirectly.

Weyuhl. This break was the first time I'd been there in about two years... so I dunno about often, but I'd like to say I'll be there more regularly in the future.

did it make you feel accomplished inside to go last time? did you have a wonderful time? would you have a wonderful time again? do you feel like youre doing some good when you go? can you afford to miss a week of school, if you let your professors know in advance? can you deal with maybe paying back your generous family when you are more able?
seems like a good opportunity to me :)
